German fisherman caught a bottle with a message to the 100-year-old
A resident of the settlement heikendorf in Schleswig-Holstein in Germany, Konrad Fischer, going fishing in the Baltic Sea, did not even know what will become the owner of a unique catch.
Its network together with fish caught an old beer bottle. At first, like the fisherman to throw it back into the sea, but the companion advised to see what is inside. There was the postcard, dated May 17, 1913.
The author of the message was a resident of Berlin, Richard Platz. He asked the finder to send a letter bottle in his home address. Card has been bought in Denmark, and on it were pasted two German marks. As it turned out later, the writer died in the First World War.
Bottle, caught in the sea, can glorify the fisherman Fisher, as he was in her letter might be the oldest message ever caught in the sea. Currently, the Guinness Book of Records, the oldest message in a bottle was written 97 years ago.
