Around the Earth.

Since the launch of the first man-made satellite in 1957 until January 1, 2008, about 4,600 launches have been made – about 6,000 satellites. 400 of them are beyond Earth’s orbit. Of the remaining 5,600, about 800 work. Communication with the others is lost. Plus a huge number of all sorts of fragments and remains - from lost in orbit screwdrivers to fuel tanks.
