In 2007, in the desert near the town of Abu Dhabi (capital of UAE) began construction of the first eco-friendly city in the world - Masdar. City size of 6 square kilometers and around the wall to be built to protect the city from the wind. Masdar will be powered by solar energy and other types of batteries that get their energy from natural resources.
