"Costa Concordia"



On Friday night 13 luxury cruise ship «Costa Concordia» with more than 3,200 passengers and 1,000 crew members on board hit a reef, tilted and partially sank off the coast of the island of Giglio, Italy. Already confirmed the death of 6 people, including two French passengers and one crew member from Peru. All of them drowned in the Mediterranean after the crash. 14 people are still unaccounted for and rescuers continue to search for survivors. The accident occurred just a few hours after departure, and passengers have not been able to hold briefing on safety, so the evacuation of the ship was in chaos. Captain Francesco Schettino was arrested. Among other charges, he was also accused of the fact that he left the ship one of the first.
