"Navaratri" - a holiday celebration of good over evil
India ended the traditional festival "Navaratri". This event symbolizes the final arrival of spring, and lasts for nine nights and ten days.
It was the last day of a religious festival is a kind of culmination. On March 24, in India celebrate the birthday of Rama, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu, and in fact the ideal ruler, who lived many centuries ago. Holiday is called Rama Navami and the essence of the holiday is reduced to moment of victory of good over evil. No wonder it takes so much celebration, a Sanskrit word "Navaratri" means "nine nights." A huge number of followers of the faith gathered in the city of Allahabad, the sacred place called Sangam. This place is a landmark, as here together in one bed just three rivers Sarasvati, Yamuna and the Ganges. It is here that believers wash all my sins and freed from the cycle of births.
