Not many people know that in Vilnius, Lithuania There is a kind of state called Uzupis, and in Russian - District Republic. It is an area of artists, which is separated from the Old Town River Vilenka (Vilnelė).

Artists chosen this quarter in Soviet times, but before the declaration of independence of Lithuania was one of the most neglected in the city.
