Xerox showed reusable paper





Research Laboratory of Xerox demonstrated reusable paper, reports PC World. Any information printed on it will disappear after 24 hours. The developers claim that a single sheet of paper may be used up to a hundred times without loss of quality.

Externally reusable paper is the same white sheet of A4. It is composed of a plurality of molecules that interact with ultraviolet radiation printer by modifying its properties. A day later the irradiated molecules are reset.

Currently, the technology is adapted only for black and white printing. Sami ultraviolet printing devices are very compact and can be used as a mobile printer.

For the first time the creation of reusable paper Xerox representative stated in late 2006. Then it was reported that the paper can be used up to 50 times, and the printed information stored therein from 16 to 24 hours.
