Cyberpunk in contemporary art: sculpture of fiber Bashny.Net

This is not an alien craft (although very similar to it), and interactive sculpture, created by members of the laboratory studies of mobility MIT Mobile Experience Lab. Creation is called The Cloud - a cloud.

Comprising beautiful sculpture of more than fifteen thousand individual optical fibers and 65 kilometers of fiber optic cable. Cloud reacts to touch and movement, changing color, emitting sounds and animations showing. To join such a beautiful work of art would be a pleasure - because a sculpture like a living organism responds to your presence there.





The software used to create the cloud is free (open source), so anyone can add to his bizarre properties any more.
