Roman statue stands on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea in the southern city of Ashkelon on December 14th. Statue stayed underground for many centuries and was excavated by winter storms raging on the coast of Israel. According to the Israeli Archaeological Committee, a marble statue was found in the remains of the cliff, which was destroyed by the wind, waves and rain. Strong storm exposed the ancient art on the coast of Israel.
