To grow basil, you do not need much work, a bouquet way to grow fragrant greens

Basil is an amazing spicy green that is adored by millions of housewives. Moreover, basil in cooking is used not only in fresh, but also in dried form (even so it retains all its useful properties).

Although it is usually the above-ground parts of the plant that are sent to food, for example, even basil seeds get into dishes in Azerbaijani cuisine. We are talking about the preparation of salads, soups, pate and even drinks.

Of course, the seeds of the aforementioned greens can be sifted immediately in the garden. However, it is much safer to grow seedlings. And below we will show a bouquet method by which basil can be grown even in an apartment.

1. To sow basil, it is enough to take any small container. Surely such containers are enough for every hoarding hostess. Note that there must be drainage holes at the bottom of the container.
   
   
   
   
2. Fill the container with a little more than half the soil. Level and tamp the soil a little, you can also moisten it a little.
   
   
   
   
3. Now just sprinkle basil seeds on the surface, do not hide them in the soil. You can moisten the top again. Then close the container with a lid and send it to a warm place.
   
   
   
   
4. As soon as the shoots appear, move the container where there is plenty of light. Greens feel great at room temperature, does not require any special treatment. In such conditions, seedlings of basil can grow even for a whole month.
   
   
   
   
5. You can also plant the shoots of the basil in individual containers. It is enough to fill each container with soil, which is tamped and moistened. And then you should make a recess, into which a whole bunch of basil should be transplanted. Do not forget to sprinkle the soil so that all the “legs” of the plant are in the soil.
