Details on how the lockdown goes in China

I told you recently about lockdown And I warned you, we need to be very careful. The Chinese quarantine is intimidating in its severity. And today I want to tell you a little bit more about him. We forgot about the pandemic and relaxed too early.

Lockdown in China on March 28 in Shanghai began a large-scale lockdown. However, after 10 days, it became clear that the quarantine should be extended. It is not yet clear how long people will remain in prison. Unfortunately, the other conditions in which the inhabitants of the city, can not be called.

Since most cases of COVID-19 in Shanghai are asymptomatic, local authorities have resorted to the most stringent restrictions. China is already experiencing a decline in economic living standards. According to the latest data, the country's manufacturing activity fell to a five-month low back in March.

But most of all, ordinary people suffer, who are deprived of the right to a full life. 26 million people must be at home day and night. About once every 2-3 days, they are required to be tested for coronavirus. This is the only way to go out legally. To get some fresh air, the Chinese and guests of the city go to the balconies of their apartments. Some trick and leave apartments more often than usual to throw away garbage.

The Shanghai quarantine was the largest since the lockdown in Wuhan in 2020. China is experiencing the worst wave of the pandemic. Local authorities regularly check every home for infected people. They also provide food and water to those in need. Tests and food are provided free of charge.

Peels mobilized 38,000 health workers to work with people. Among them, 2,000 are military doctors. China strictly adheres to the zero covid strategy. This means that all people who have been in contact with the infected should be quarantined. And the lockdown will not end until the level of mass morbidity decreases.

Such strict measures are justified by the fact that there is a risk of new strains of COVID-19. People who test positive for coronavirus are sent to quarantine centers. Often these are specially converted sports halls. Patients should remain there until they are fully recovered.

These centers caused a storm of indignation in society. If only a child gets sick in the family, he is taken away from his parents and sent to quarantine without them. The father or mother can go with the child. However, this is possible only after signing the relevant disclaimer.

At first it seemed that to survive another lockdown will be easy. However, people faced a lot of serious difficulties. For example, conventional delivery services no longer work because they simply can’t handle the flood of requests. Food prices are also rising.

You can order food for the whole house. To do this, special cars come with provisions that are distributed by volunteers. Previously, the inhabitants were delivered eggs, meat, vegetables and fruits. But now many complain about the lack of basic foods and medicines. Some people are starving. Meanwhile, local authorities are promising to improve the food situation in the city as soon as possible.

Among other things, the people of Shanghai are under psychological pressure. Talking drones fly around the city, reminding of compliance with quarantine restrictions. People feel like they are constantly being watched. In fact, this is the case, as unauthorized leaving the house can lead to serious consequences.

While some visionaries promise that the pandemic will end in the summer of 2022, others warn of the emergence of a new virus. Unfortunately, COVID-19 continues to mutate. It is already clear that existing vaccines will not protect people from all possible strains.

We urge you to take this matter seriously. The coronavirus is unlikely to be eradicated. However, we need to learn to get along with him and remember that he is very insidious. Take care of yourself and your loved ones during this difficult time!
