A few days later, Natalia's husband decided to please his wife with a spring gift. Together they took the orchid from the store like a child, carefully wrapped in a blanket. Since then, she has been buying more and more orchids at every opportunity.
Orders over the Internet and frequent trips to other cities have led to the fact that today in the collection of Natalia more than 90 varieties of orchids.
How to care for an orchid at home
According to the grower, the most unpretentious in the care of the flower is phalaenopsis. It is not necessary to torture excessive care and frequent watering: once every 10 days will be enough.
Natalia also believes that each flower is able to feel the energy of the owner: “They know how to be offended, harmful and be grateful.”
Despite the fact that there are many orchids in the gardener’s house, Natalia admits that it is quite difficult to reproduce these plants. And the first flowering baby orchid can please only after 3-4 years.
Each flower blooming with proper care can last up to 2-3 months. And some varieties can bloom without stopping for up to 3 years in a row.
Orchids occupy not only all window sills in Natalia’s house, but also live in a separate greenhouse. This room is affectionately called the “winter garden”. There are also palm trees, wines and other exotic vegetation.
