3. “In conclusion” or “in detention”
   It is very important not to confuse these endings, because not only literacy, but also meaning depends on them. So if we're talking about finishing something, then we write an "e": "At the end of the concert, they sang everybody's favorite song." When we talk about prisons, we write “and.” For example, someone is in prison for theft. We will also write “and” if we talk about a document that can be called a conclusion: “The doctor’s conclusion says that the patient has the flu.” You just have to keep a close eye on the meaning of what you’re trying to say, and then there won’t be any problems. 4. “In consequence” or “in consequence”
   If we can replace it with “because of” we write “because of” – together with “e” at the end: “Vasily resigned due to illness”.
