Logic puzzles
- As a first task, we suggest extending a number of numbers. You need to understand what the pattern is hidden here in order to put the right number after 2, 5, 8 and 14. Can you find the connection and put the correct numbers instead of the ellipsis?
- Next, we offer a similar task, but here we will have to remember not only arithmetic operations. We have recorded all 10 digits, but they are located in a rather unusual order. What was the reason for the man who put the numbers in this way?

Tips to puzzles
- After analyzing this series, we understand that each successive number is increased by the previous one and a unit is added to it. Indeed, 2 + 5 + 1 = 8, and 5 + 8 + 1 = 14. Then the desired number will be 8 + 14 + 1 = 23.
- In order to solve the second puzzle, a calculator is not needed. You just have to guess that the numbers are in alphabetical order. And really: eight, two, nine, zero, one, five...
- Three out of four boys told the truth. Therefore, Valera and Maxim, whom no one pointed out, immediately become beyond suspicion. If you suspect Sergei, then it turns out that both Sergey (who countered the accusation) and Maxim (who pointed to Artem) lied. Thus, we have one main suspect - Artem. And this version is confirmed by the words of Valera, Sergey and Maxim.
