Planting of such roses should be carried out as soon as the soil warms up to 8-10 degrees Celsius. In central Russia, this happens from about April 20 to May 20.

Option 2: young shoots have already appeared on the seedlings. In this case, you should be guided by the condition of the roses that are already growing on your site. It is necessary to postpone the landing until the moment when the first shoots appear on them.

If you bought seedlings, and the weather does not yet allow them to plant, wrap the roots with a wet cloth or bury them in moistened sand. Keep the temperature for storage at +4 degrees. In this state, seedlings can be stored for about a month.

The optimal place is to plant a rose on a flat or slightly elevated place, protected from winds, in loose fertile soil with good drainage. You cannot plant roses close to other plants.

Roses love sunlight, but in the scorching sun the color of the flowers turns pale, and the flowering time is shortened. The best place for a rose is a place where a light shadow will fall on the plant during the daytime.

First, trim the crown and root system to stimulate the growth of the kidneys and young suction roots. The above-ground parts of the seedlings can be pruned to about 20 centimeters, leaving 4-6 buds.

Secondly, soak dried roots after storage for a day in water. You can place them for another 1 hour in the growth stimulator "Embico" or "Cornevin". Before planting the seedlings, treat the roots for better survival with "Phytosporine", then dip in liquid clay with mullet (proportion 2: 1).

Prepare a hole slightly larger than the width of the root system. The depth should coincide with the distance from the bottom of the roots to the root neck plus 5 centimeters. At the bottom of the pit mound a little earth, install a seedling, up to half powder.

Pour the plant with water so that the soil settles and is distributed between the roots. Sprinkle the ground to the top, you can even slightly tamp, again well fields. The root neck of the flower should be underground, at a depth of 3-6 centimeters.

Immediately after planting the rose should be steeped. Fill the seedlings with dry earth to a height of 10-15 centimeters. This will protect the bushes from late frost.

Roses planted in autumn gardeners try to protect them from frost, covering them for the winter with sawdust or agrofiber. Earlier we told how to care for such roses in the spring, because wrapped plants need to help get used to the coolness.
