How to prune roses in autumn so that the flowers overwinter and bloom lushly in summer

First, the cropped plant subsequently grows faster and develops better. And the nutrients obtained from the soil are more evenly distributed throughout its parts.



Secondly, this plant is less sick. After all, ridding the rose bush of old and pest-affected branches, we stop the problem even before it occurs. Make an incision at an angle of 45 degrees and at a distance of 1 cm above the kidney facing outward. This will provide young shoots with optimal lighting. If the branches are thicker than 1 cm, it is better to smear the site of the cut with garden brew.

What to do after pruning? Remove all the leaves under the bush, loosen the soil. Mound under the root of dry earth. Make a pitching to a height of 8-10 cm.



Roll the sprouts of woven roses with a ring and lay them on the ground. To cover them, use lapberry and dry grass with a layer of more than 10 cm. If desired, you can build an additional protective frame of cardboard, branches and wires.
