Environmental disaster, which are silent media
Most of us still remember about the disaster, on a planetary scale that occurred in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010. Major media outlets existing on the money corporations and politicians prefer to remain silent about its consequences. However, photographer Daniel Beltra who witnessed the accident, does not agree with this position. He hoped that the frightening series of photographs entitled "Spill" will not let you forget about the trouble hanging over humanity.
More than two years ago, the result of the 36-hour fire, oil platform Deepwater Horizon sank in the Gulf of Mexico. The accident resulted in damage to oil wells, so that the ocean flowed up to 1000 tons of oil per day. The leak was significantly reduced only after five months.
Now on the surface of the Gulf of Mexico oil there, but nobody knows what is happening on the seabed. Members of the organization Greenpeace asked the owner of the well many important, on a planetary scale. Where 75 percent of the oil from the surface of the Gulf of Mexico? Is it true that underwater oil cloud reached the Atlantic ocean? What was the impact of the disaster on the Gulf stream? These and many other questions remain without an official answer. Press relizer company BP (British oil company), is responsible for the disaster, such questions are not answered, leaving them to the public. So, as they say, "the land is rife with rumors". And many already go to extremes, claiming that the Gulf stream has stopped, but the media not talking about this because journalists who are interested in this topic "clean". Of course, all this is only gossip. Although this information vacuum makes one wonder: perhaps the firm BP has something to hide?
This question asked myself American photographer Daniel Beltra (Daniel Beltra) and decided that he must recall what happened as long as I can. The main "trump card" the photographer had his images from the Spill, dedicated to the disaster in the Gulf of Mexico.
