The cutest animal is the Japanese flying squirrel get

Japanese flying squirrel, or a small flying squirrel (lat. Pteromys momonga) is one of two species of Asian flying squirrels. The species name momonga received from his Japanese name.

Habitat — evergreen mountain forests of the Islands of Kyushu and Honshu. Body size 15-20 cm, tail length is 10-14 cm, weight — about 200 g of Wool top — grey-brown, bottom — white or light gray. The gestation period lasts for 4 weeks, is born from 2 to 5 cubs. In 1.5 months the young become independent. Living in a natural environment up to 5 years, in captivity up to 15.

Japanese small flying squirrel is a nocturnal animal eats bark, nuts, seeds and sometimes insects. Builds nests in hollows and forks of trees of moss and lichen.

These animals are very shy, they're nocturnal, but in winter they can sleep for a few days. They love the trees, especially those that woodpeckers leave holes, ideal for comfortable nests.

Predators avoid these squirrels, flying from tree to tree.

These squirrels prefer pine, cedar or spruce with abandoned holes made by the woodpeckers. Field has no value due to fragile skin. The risk of extinction of this species is minimal.
