Why women talk a lot?

U.S. researchers conducted experiments on the interesting topic: "Why women talk more than men?"

Previously, it was found that women on average speak about 20,000 words daily, while as men — less than 7.000.

Neuroscientists and psychologists from the University of Maryland concluded that the verbosity of women can be explained by the fact that their brains are more the FOXP2 protein.

Experts say that if people just women have more of this protein, rat folding the opposite situation. During experiments with rats, scientists found that four-male "yell" (in the ultrasonic range) more often females, when they are separated from the mother. Changing the content of the FOXP2 protein, scientists followed the changes in "talking" rats.

The experts also conducted experiments, which was observed in 10 children aged 4-5 years. In girls, the amount of the FOXP2 protein was 30% more than boys.

It is worth noting that in 2011 British scientists after years of observation decided that it is men, not women are the weaker sex and this imbalance, according to scientists, you need to compensate.
