Getting into the air in the cabin of passenger aircraft of potentially hazardous substances that occur often enough, can bring risk to the woman's body. This conclusion was published, the researchers, led by Professor Susan Michaelis. Her research, the results of which became the basis of the thesis, proved that intoxication with toxic vapors is common on flights.





"Getting the air into the lungs of this kind of compounds can cause some serious diseases from simple headache and complaints of feeling unwell, and before the emergence of onkologicheskie diseases", says Professor Michaelis. The Professor stressed that the continuation of the 5 years of the civil aviation Department have received many complaints of this kind, among them – 250 messages about the leak of aviation oil, which uses the engine of the aircraft, and contact with vapors in the passenger compartment.





Scientists are calling the aerial company to equip aircraft with special sensors that will record the presence of harmful fumes. "Smell this is not always possible to hear, so the flight passengers may not be aware that currently are exposed to toxic vapors", – expressed his concerns scientists.
