Czech engineers create flying bicycle
The company ET The Extra-Terrestrial tried to make the most environmentally friendly transport and presented its new invention F-Bike. At the moment, the F-Bike is a prototype. The first flight tests of the F-Bike were successful.
The main feature of the bicycle is that, accelerating, it can come off the ground and fly for 3-5 minutes through the air. For flight, the bike uses six 45-volt rotors that rotate multi-directional propellers. Four of them are designated for lifting into the air and two for moving above the ground.
The weight of the structure does not exceed 80 kg (without a cyclist). The maximum load on the rotors together should not exceed 170 kg. If the weight increases, the bike will not be able to take off. The bike also has a couple of dynamos, which make it possible to charge the batteries of the rotors. While due to the restriction of permissible weight, the bike can fly through the air no more than 7-10 minutes with a speed not exceeding 10 km / h. To charge the batteries for three minutes will take about an hour and a half drive.
