Amazing moment captured on film —the elephant cries during rescue mission.





The elephant, who was chained with spikes for 50 years cried after it was freed in a night rescue mission.

But last week, North of London charitable organization "Wildlife SOS" (wildlife rescue) stepped in to save Raju from dying from his shackles in a daring midnight rescue operation.





He was released in one minute July 4 — independence Day.

When the team came to the aid of the elephant to save him, freed him from the chains they noticed that tears were rolling down his face.





A spokeswoman for British charity, Benipal Puja (Pooja Binepal) said: "Raju has spent a long 50 years, dragging a miserable existence in chains 24 hours a day, it is unbearably cruel."

"The team was amazed when he saw the tears that were rolling down the face of the animal during the rescue work."
