Dizzying Car Sculptures by Jerry Jude

Every year, London-based artist Jerry Judah creates a large sculpture to honor the iconic car at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. This event is held annually in Sussex, UK. This year, Judah mounted a tall 26-meter sculpture with two Mercedes racing cars – the 1934 Mercedes-Benz W 25 Silver Arrow and the 2013 Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 W04. Cars seem to fly past each other in the air, connected by a 90-meter steel arch. The sculpture celebrates 120 years of heritage of the Mercedes-Benz sports department.

Previously, Judah created sculptures for Ferrari, Porsche, Audi, Jaguar, Renault, Ford, Rolls-Royce, Honda, Toyota, Land Rover, Alfa Romeo and Lotus at the annual Goodwood Festival of Speed. His monumental sculptures always become the central attraction of this landmark event.

Here's a sculpture for Porsche at the 2013 festival:

The sculpture was designed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the legendary Porsche 911. It consists of three futuristic white steel 'arrows' soaring upward, with a 911 pistol on top of each. This masterpiece of auto exploration reaches 35 meters high.

Sculpture for Lotus at Ghostwood 2012:

A sculpture for Lotus Cars at the 2012 festival showcases six historic Formula cars riding on a winding road tied into the shape of a knot. The length of the road is 150 meters, and the entire installation weighs 60 tons. Six classic cars are presented: Lotus 32B (Jim Clark 1965), Lotus 49B (Graham Hill 1968), Lotus 72E (Emerson Fittipaldi 1973), Lotus 79 (Mario Andretti 1978), Lotus 99T (Ayrton Senna 1987) and the latest Lotus F1 model.
