Monastery in Bhutan
Taktshang is one of the most famous monasteries in Bhutan. It is located at an altitude of 3120 meters above sea level. Its name in Russian means "Tiger's Nest". According to legend, Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) flew here on the back of a tiger. The monastery consists of seven temples, each of which can be visited. You can get there on foot or by mule.
