The best pictures of weather phenomena from NASA
NASA held a competition for the best of the weather and have chosen the five best works. The contest popularitywith NASA's program of satellite tracking of precipitation.

Recently, NASA called on all the photographers from the United States to take up their cameras and send
the contest pictures extreme weather conditions. The objective of the NASA competition was to attract
attention to program to monitor global rainfall — international
satellite program, which studies the water cycle on the planet and aims to improve
weather forecasting.
A jury of NASA chose the five best shots and posted them on its web site.
As reported mirnt.ru the winner of the contest was a panoramic picture of Brian Johnson
made may 30, 2012, depicting the formation of huge storm clouds over the field
in Kansas.

July 5, 2011 Megan wood photographed the wall of dust and sand that flew over
Arizona. Megan managed to hide in the car when a huge cloud swept past, eclipsing
sunlight.
