Rainbow-painted houses in Mexico

A quarter of the houses in the vicinity of Palmitas, in Pachuca (Mexico) is painted in bright rainbow colors. This large-scale project called "Paint Pachuca" was sponsored by the government of Mexico and implemented by his team of German artists. Artists had painted almost 209 front walls of houses, is more than 1500 square meters, which spent about 20,000 litres of paint in bright colors. Now instead of the grey and dull concrete walls spilled from the rainbow-painted bright orange, green, lavender and yellow. These colors for painting was not chosen by chance. Before you embark on this ambitious project, a survey was conducted of local residents who live in these houses, and they gave preference to those colors.





So one of the members of the group of German artists Irving Trejo (left) and Carlos Duarte (right) painted one of the facades in bright colors of orange and lime green.













And judging by this set of paints can judge how bright and rich tones began to play an extraordinary rainbow-painted walls of the Mexican houses in an impoverished area of Mexico.









Rainbow-painted houses in Pachuca was completed on 30 July 2015. On design drawings, the team of German artists at home in the headquarters had about 14 months to create this most ambitious painting of street facades in Mexico.published
