RIU River Doce (Rio Doce) is located in the east of Brazil and flows into the Atlantic Ocean. Its waters have been contaminated after a dam owned by Vale SA and BHP Billiton Ltd. These terrible pictures made photographer Ricardo Moraes / Reuters on 21-22 November 2015.
