Brighton Beach

Brighton Beach - a district of New York, located in the southern part of Brooklyn. The area became famous in the 70s of last century, when it began to settle immigrants from the former Soviet Union, mainly from Russia and Ukraine. The area has about 100,000 inhabitants. Brighton Beach is known worldwide for its concert halls, cafes and restaurants. In this area many cultural centers of the Russian community, among which, the editorial board of Russian-language newspapers, radio stations, TV studios, leisure centers, schools and a large Russian-speaking infrastructure.
