Suicide with numerous gunshot wounds occurs when a person commits suicide using a firearm while committing two or more shots before becoming incapacitated. It excludes suicide when firearms in the possession of others, such as suicide with the help of law enforcement officers.
Suicide with multiple gunshot wounds often generates controversy because of the popular misconception that cause more than one gunshot wound to itself - it is impossible. Because of this, many people associate with suicide such conspiracy theories in which it is believed that the victims actually were victims of homicide. Forensic science has established, however, that the suicide with a firearm with a few shots, although a rare phenomenon, but also very real.
One particular case has been documented in Australia. In February 1995, a man committed suicide in a park in Canberra, Australia. He took a pump-action shotgun and shot himself in the chest. The charge passed through the chest without hitting the rib came out on the other side of the body Bang Bang. Then he was fifteen meters, reloaded, leaned his gun to his throat, and shot in the throat and part of the jaw. Continuing breathing through a tracheotomy damaged gunshot wound, he again reloaded, walked 136 meters to the side of the hill, I lay down, sent a gun at his chest with his hands and pulled the trigger with his toes. The charge hit him in the chest cavity and destroyed the tissue of the heart, killing him on the spot.
