Snowstorm 1972, that raged in Iran during the week claimed the lives of 4000 people. During this time, in the north-west and center of the country the snow cover reached three meters, and in the south - almost eight meters. From residents of villages Kakkan Kumar and not one survived, and in the village were buried Sheklab 100 inhabitants.





This storm is still considered the most deadly in human history. These resulted in catastrophic consequences that the people of the Middle East were completely unprepared for the snow.
