Thomas Julien, a French artist and director, created the project with which hopes to prove service users «Instagram», that their "creative" and "artistic" pictures rather banal and do not differ, even a little bit of originality.

Dutchman chose 852 pictures belonging to different people, and installed a video of them, trying to get something like the whole narrative of the life of a hypothetical "averaged" user.



Photos are devoted to the most popular «Instagram» themes: they depict the sights of different countries, sunsets, views from the window of an airplane, or, for example, the legs.

According to Julien, the vast majority of photos, which he studied in the establishment video do not show creativity of their authors. People often believe that their pictures "laykayut" for originality, but in fact people say those photos that they are close to or interested in, regardless of artistic merit, especially as many images as found by Thomas, they simply do not have.

Using different filters and shifts service, many are beginning to imagine himself as a talented photographer, but do not forget that these "geniuses" in our time, millions.
