This superfamily Lepadomorpha Pilsbr. Barnacles Lepadomorpha superfamily have a head, dressed limestone plates and bare or covered with calcareous scales stalk. Stalk serves for attachment to the substrate. Plate on the head or articulate or fused or lie independently. In some species the plate in some extent reduced. Sometimes stalk may be missing. Most of the species - hermaphrodites.
