Nicobar pigeon or Nicobar pigeon (Caloenas nicobarica) inhabit small islands and in coastal areas of the Nicobar Islands, east of the Malay Archipelago, to the Solomon Islands and Palau. It is the only living representative of the genus Caloenas and closest living relatives of the missing dodo.
