Djerbahood 2014
Sounds strange, "invite people to a chat on the wall of the picturesque village of Tunisia." Usually, graffiti is not welcome, but what is happening here - is unique.
Djerba Island is known as the "Island of Dreams" - invited 150 international artists to take part in street art project «Djerbahood», led by Tunisian-born French artist Mehdi Ben Cheikh. In July and August 2014 artists from 30 countries traveled here to create murals. One of the oldest villages in Tunisia was the venue of one of the biggest events of contemporary street art.
