The winner of the leopard

56-year-old Kamla Devi from the Indian state of Uttarakhand went to the river to fetch water, when suddenly out of the bushes next to it jumped a big leopard. Fortunately, the hand of a woman were the hammer and shovel.





Wielding garden tools, Kamla, as she could fend off the animal, until finally he prevailed. The leopard was dead, but she barely Kamla alive - at the hands of flesh hung in rags, deep wounds on the head, bite marks all over his body.
"I thought I was dead, but to give up even the thought was not" - admitted Kamla already in the hospital.
