The gallery of paleontology

Gallery of paleontology and comparative anatomy at the National Museum of Natural History of France, is one important distinguishing feature of which we want to tell.

Gallery itself is located on the territory of the Botanical Garden of the capital. The museum presents visitors skeletons of almost all living in the moment, in the world of representatives of vertebrates. Most of the skeletons were collected during research expeditions that took place in XVIII-XIX centuries. At the moment, in the gallery of paleontology and comparative anatomy is more than a thousand skeletons. Why gallery also called a parade of skeletons? Absolutely all samples turn heads in the same direction, which creates the feeling that they are on parade.
