Kurds - people with strong and clearly defined ethnic, live for thousands of years in their homeland, which is called Kurdistan - Kurdish nation. They speak the Kurdish language. Kurdistan is divided between Turkey, Iraq, Iran and Syria. They have preserved their language and original features, traditions and culture. Attempts to assimilate the foreign invaders and physically dissolve them in their environment were always doomed to complete failure.
