High-speed train
It is planned to launch a new high-speed train made in Germany Siemens Velaro RUS «Sapsan". To date, the Russian Railways has already delivered 4 trains Velaro, and as many more are expected in the near future.
One of the compounds is already being tested on the line. Last week, as part of the beginning of 5000 the first run I was able to ride it on the route Moscow - St. Petersburg - Moscow. From a trip to Nizhny Novgorod, I refused for personal reasons.
