Cabin in the Clouds
Solvay Hut name - the highest on the mountain Matterhor. It is located at an altitude of 4003 m, on the edge, just above the stove Mosley. This is a small shelter where can accommodate 10 people. The hut is designed for emergency situations, but many climbers stop it easy to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views. On the edge of the ledge you can see the majestic peaks of Mount Rosa neighborhood. This house is located somewhere on the two thirds of the way to the top, 475 meters below the summit.
1. Cabin was built in August 1915.
