Rural Olympics in India

Every year in the village of Kila Raipur, Punjab, India, a festival of strength and skill, called "Rural Olympics».
Stunts are very dangerous. Participants demonstrate their skills and endurance.








Participants demonstrate their ability to manage the chariot show acrobatics on horseback, break stones on his chest and compete in a tug of heavy objects. These games are somewhat similar to our "Powerful Game", only with a life-threatening stunts.









Participants of the festival can be anyone from a teenager to 80 years old. Even people with disabilities compete in races on tractors.





Rural Olympics were founded in 1933 by philanthropist Inder Singh heated, which wanted to diversify rural livelihoods. Who would have thought that these games will be international.
