Almost ready to run in production prototype midsize crossover Great Wall Hover H6 was shown to the public in 2009 at the Beijing Auto Show. But now the Chinese have presented official photos of the car, which will go into production in the near future.

Externally, the car is virtually no different from those shown before pre-production samples. New nuances of touch technology: no longer refers to the 1, 5-liter turbo engine (126 hp), which was previously scheduled to be installed on the machine. The Chinese considered it too small, so under the hood will be placed Hover H6 2, 4-liter engine that produces 164 hp and 210 newton-meters. Since the car will be sold not only in China but also in Europe, especially for the western market the car will be equipped with two-liter turbodiesel capacity of 150 hp (310 Newton meters). With both engines will be aggregated five-speed manual gearbox, and later will variator, which is currently under development.

From its predecessor (Hover H3) novelty differs dramatically. The machine is built on a new platform, it has a bearing body (previous model was the frame) and positioned not as an SUV, but as an urban crossover. Machine length decreased by 1 cm (4, 64 m), the width increased by 2 cm (1 to 82 m), the height is 1, 69 m (-11 cm) wheelbase - 2 and 68 m (- 2 cm) ground clearance - 185 mm.

It is worth noting that at this time the Chinese designers have done without borrowing: a completely original style. Hover H3 often called unlicensed copy Isuzu Axiom, but now the accusations of plagiarism will remain in the past. The taillights somewhat in the spirit of the Tuareg, but the similarity ends. Perhaps the Chinese people even managed to create not only original but also very solid and modern look. Of course, against the background of solid European and American new SUV can get lost, but it can be noted though that in the exterior of the car is not pronounced "AsiaticĀ».

The equipment base modifications are six airbags, CD / MP3-audio system with USB-connector, ABS, multifunctional steering wheel. Optionally, you can order a DVD-player, and navigation system. In China, the car will cost about $ 18 000. On the deliveries Great Wall Hover H6 in Russia is not reported, but most of all to the Russian dealers first crossover will get no earlier than next year. Also, do not rule out the possibility of assembling cars in Russia.
