A man called an ambulance, he was taken to the hospital, but were not able to save - Vadim Gorbenko died of a heart attack. He was 73 years old.
Vadim Gorbenko - Honored coach, Honored Worker of Physical Culture of the Russian Federation and honorary citizen of the Kurgan region. His whole life has been associated with the sport. In 60-70 years, he praised his native Urals, speaking competitions in Greco-Roman wrestling. His track record - a gold medal of the championship of the RSFSR, RSFSR Championship bronze medals, as well as second place in the team standings in the championship of the RSFSR in 1969.
In 1967 he became the winner Gorbenko Sports of the USSR in freestyle wrestling, and then to the master rank of Greco-Roman wrestling Add the same freestyle. In 1970 Vadim Fedorovich turned to coaching.
Over the years as a coach Vadim Gorbenko has trained more than 100 masters of sports of the USSR and the Russian Federation, among them - the leader of the Russian national team in Greco-Roman wrestling Alexander Menshikov.
Until now Gorbenko led GBOU DOD "Regional Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve №2».
