Creating carnival masks

During the Swabian-Alemannic Fastnacht (carnival before Lent) from woodcarver Adrian Burger from Elzach than ever orders. Adrian specializes in the manufacture of wooden carnival masks. For a year he cut 120 pieces - that is, three days per instance - for participants carnivals and just collectors. Each mask is worth € 250-300 and is unique. It is easy to calculate that the annual income of the master reaches about € 30-40 thousand. Interestingly, Adrian is one of the four masters of the small town of Elzach, where the secrets of carving masks handed down from generation to generation for several centuries.
