Exactly 70 years ago, March 9, 1944 in the village of the Lviv region killed Boratyn subversive group of legendary Soviet intelligence agent Nikolai Ivanovich Kuznetsov. She was captured by militants UPA. Kuznetsov blew himself up with a grenade, and his companions were shot.




Shortly before the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, Nikolai Kuznetsov began to prepare for a job abroad with illegal products. November 5, 1944 was published decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of conferring the title of Hero of the Soviet Union, the employees of special divisions of the NKGB USSR in force at the rear of the enemy.
