Soviet pilot ATVs (16 photos)

Miracle of the Soviet automobile industry rust. Sadly. I think it makes sense to recall that produces a variety of KB USSR.

This ZIL-E-167, was designed in the early 60's and was intended to get around the remote northern regions of the USSR. In the rear of the car there were two engine (one for each side), fuel tank capacity of 900 liters, wheel diameter 1.8 meters, ground clearance of 85 cm. Wheels and cabin were made of fiberglass, which significantly reduces the total weight. In a series of this wonderful car did not, apparently, due to the start of production of the universal tracked all GT-T.

For this amphibian nothing has been found. Maybe someone knows?

Amphibians have a winch

and a hefty screw!

This ZIL 5901 (PES-2). Intended for the search and evacuation of spacecraft descent module.

Like this it looked

Triaxial ZIL 4972 has torsion bar suspension. The first and the third pair of wheels driven.

In Screw-propelled vehicle ZIL4904 no wheels - instead they have huge screws.

would not want to get into this meat grinder

Wheels, in my opinion, as a sort of "animate" the car. Without them, the cars looks very creepy and inhumane.

Perhaps this all-terrain vehicle and used to transport shnekohoda

ZIL 135K once carried the cruise missile FCR-2 and looked like this
