Artist-sculptor Pat Acton (Pat Acton), representing the Association «Matchstick Marvels», created a massive copy of the legendary fortress of Minas Tirith. To create a project, the author took more than 420,000 matches. A native of the US state of Iowa, has been creating sculptures of matches for the past 36 years. Besides the fortress, at the same time Pat has recreated a fragment of the mountain Mindolluin, with 24 million boxes. Note that this is not the first project of the author on the topic of creativity J. R. R. Tolkien.
