Bugatti. Even rusty - for € 260 thousand
How do you think it may be worth the rusty skeleton of the car? At Bonhams auction paid for it € 260 500. Initially it was assumed that the skeleton will be sold for € 70 000 - € 90 000. This is what remains of the Bugatti Brescia in 1925 after spending decades at the bottom of Lake Maggiore in northern Italy. The buyer was the European representative of the California collector Peter Mullin. Curiously, the new owner did not intend to restore the car: Bugatti gets the exhibit in its current state.
