Whiskey for Diamond Jubilee
to the 60th anniversary of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, the Scottish distillery John Walker & Sons, alco-owned giant Diageo, has prepared a special whiskeys. Diamond Jubilee Blended Scotch Whisky is a blend of alcohols in 1952 from several Scottish producers, completed in barrel of oak from the royal estate of Sandringham. The drink is bottled 6 February 2012 - exactly 60 years after the ascension of Elizabeth II to the throne. The company will issue a total of 60 whiskey decanters unique and the first of them is the Queen. Crystal vessels decorated with precious silver content "collar", decorated with diamonds in polkarata and silver seal with an individual number. The bottle is packed in a box made of wood from the royal estates, Sandringham and Balmoral, which also was a place for the two crystal glasses by hand. The cost of each decanter is 100 thousand pounds, but to buy an anniversary not everyone can drink whiskey will be sold at a private auction in early 2012, which can get to be by invitation only. All proceeds from the sale of the precious drink will be donated to the Trust Fund Scholarship Queen (Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust), engaged in the support and improvement of the skills of British craftsmen.
