Playground in the park Canberra
Australian landscape architect Kallithea Letlin Taylor (Taylor Cullity Lethlean) developed a game park in the National Arboretum Canberra (Australian Capital) - space, where it grows a huge amount of forest, rare and endangered plant species from around the world.
Playground attracts the attention of huge forms, among which are guessed giant acorns, fruit trees, bushes and network. Through such an unusual structure, differs significantly from the area of gaming areas which we are accustomed to seeing in our cities. All facilities of the park made entirely of local forest trees. Such use of environmentally friendly materials - a tribute to the environment, expressed in the language of landscape architecture.
Recently opened to the public playground is designed and available for both children and adults. All forms are found structures in common with natural forms and structures that are ubiquitous in the local arboretum, such as cork oak acorns or seeds banksias. As the play park is not only for entertainment, but also to improve the health of its visitors, many networks are arranged for climbing and climbing walls, caves, etc.
Six huge acorns linked rope tunnels, slides and ladders at a height of 3 to 6 m. The inner parts of acorns in fabulous hand-painted motifs, the abundance of different natural images - spongy clouds, rain or insects.
