Jennifer Maestre (Jennifer Maestre) was born in the South African metropolis of Johannesburg. However, the education received in North America. At first, she graduated from college «Wellesley» in Michigan, USA, where he combined the study of art with the economy. And then perfectly graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art. There, as a graduate, she was inspired by the idea of ​​creating sculptures from pencils. And the main inspiration was the sea urchin. To create sculptures, Jennifer uses the usual technique of beadwork, for which conventional saws pencils into several parts, and then each piece to drill holes and how to "crosslinks" his sculptures.
